Blotter doesn’t pick up on any of these sorts of things. For instance, in Fantastical I can type something like “Do Something every Tuesday 11am” and it will create a recurring event on Tuesdays at 11am called “Do Something”. The ability to add events and reminders is pretty limited. It’s nice to have my “to do” list on my calendar but if I have to go into the Reminders app to mark them completed anyway then it kind of defeats the purpose. You can’t interact with your events or reminders. This app is pretty limited in what it can do and totally unsuited for what I need.
